What is the Time Commitment

Like most things that bring positive change in our lives, the MBSR program requires time and commitment. The program consists of eight 2 ½ hour sessions, one per week, and a 6 hour extended "retreat" session. In addition participants are expected to complete 30 to 45 minutes of "homework" each day. MBSR is not about learning facts. It is about changing lifelong behaviors and perspectives. Daily practice is critical to its effectiveness.
